There is much talk and debate about the power balance scam that has been on the news in the last few days. Among so many texts, reviews and opinions, it can be hard to decide if power bands are a real scam or not. I’m not here to advocate if they in fact work or not, but I would like to share with you a small story.

A friend of mine, Joe, is a well-educated person and quite smart. He has some experiences in many companies and has experienced different cultures in the countries he travelled to.

And that is not all. He even made a quick demonstration on how these bands have helped him a lot in stopping his hands from shaking. He literally believes that these wristbands have a power to help him do that.

Now, let me share how he did his small demonstration. First, he raised his right arm in front of us, showing how shaky his hand was at that time. He then lowered it, strap his power balance band in the same arm, and raised it again. It was surprising that his hand was steady and not shaking even a bit. But the point is beyond whether it was true or not.

The idea is that it is completely amazing how human brain can go that far when they believe in something. It is quite similar like the placebo effect, which performs at its best. These pills have been used for hundreds of years, which have resulted in great effects in a variety of subjects.

Aren’t you amazed by the fact that a well-educated person, with a master?s degree and a PhD, fully believes and actually wears one of the accusingly fake power balance brand? Amazing how our brain can be so tricky in doing such things. So, if you are facing the same condition of believing in something, recite this story of a man named ?Joe?, and ask yourself whether you are forcing yourself to believe in it, or do you really thing that it is true. You might be surprised by the answer of this question.
